What began in 1989 as a small engineering company in the field of bridge design, Mercado Consultants, Inc. has grown to become a midsize engineering firm, with expanding services in a variety of fields in the transportation infrastructure field. Professional engineering services include bridge design and rehabilitation, structural analysis, roadway design, erosion and sediment control, transportation system infrastructure planning, and utility layout and relocation. Surveying and bridge inspection services include: surface utility surveys, aerial surveying and mapping, right-of-way research, biennial bridge inspections, bridge condition reports, underwater inspections, and construction management.
