D.C Intersection GIS (POKA-2006-T-0070-CB)

Mercado Consultants, Inc. conducted the GIS field data collection for approximately 7,500 intersections throughout Washington, DC. The project consisted of collecting data for traffic signs, signal, cameras, and pavement markings throughout the entire City. The GIS field data is currently being used by the District to develop a comprehensive GIS layer of data identifying all features with each intersection.

D.C. Parking Meter GIS Mapping (PO-KA-2003-T-0029-JJ)

Mercado Consultants was asked to develop a Parking Meter Accessibility Compliance Plan to meet the requirements of a Court Ordered Settlement for Civil Action No. 04-0529 (JDB). This effort included the review and revision of the existing Parking Meter Database. Having been previously contracted to develop the Parking Meter Data Collection project, the DC Government requested Mercado Consultants to step in to complete the GIS Mapping of Parking Meters. Mercado provided coordination and teams to collect and compile the information. This task included field data collection and input of data into DDOT's GIS mapping. The final product consisted of the location and identification of approximately 17,000 parking meters throughout the District of Columbia.

City of Alexandria Engineer of Record (01-01394) Tanyard Ditch Combined Sewer Partial Separation Project (PO 04-03036) - Alexandria Sewer Authority GIS Project

For the City of Alexandria, Mercado Consultants provided the GIS data collection of existing manholes and other sewer structure data including RTK GPS locations, pipe sizes, inverts and photographs for populating the GIS database. MCI provided field locations and elevations for 75 manholes.
Mercado also provided field data support of QA/QC, surveying support and GIS technical assistance for M-NCPPC and performed identification recording and routine maintenance of GIS related to city-owned and operated utilities for the City of Baltimore.
