Mercado Consultants aided in the design of this highly visible corridor into Baltimore City. The Russell Street Viaduct over Monroe Street is a major route into the City of Baltimore. Considered the 'Gateway' into Baltimore, it is a preferred route to Camden Yards at Oriole Park and the Ravens Stadium. Our office provided survey, structural and civil engineering services for this project including designing two new abutments and the development of more than 4,000 deck elevations for a skewed, curved and flared framing plan.
