Mercado Consultants is a full service surveying  firm specializing in all aspects of transportation and infrastructure surveying and mapping.  Since our incorporation in the State of Maryland in 1989, Mercado Consultants, Inc. has provided engineering and surveying services to the majority of federal, state and local governments and utility agencies in the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and throughout Maryland. 

We are fully staffed with two licensed surveyors, certified survey technicians and field crews with extensive experience working in the heavily traveled highway and rail corridors in this area. All of our vehicles are equipped for limited access highway work and most of our staff is trained for Amtrak and Metro right-of-way access. As a bridge inspection company, we also have fall protection equipment, ladders and boats.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certification:

We are currently certified for surveying and engineering under MDOT (No. 90-081), the Metropolitan Washington Unified Certification Program (No. 443), Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (No. DB2002-0092-2008) and VDOT (No. I119).
